Mystic Creationz
Mystic Creationz grew out of my desire to share my lampwork beads, jewelry and other creations. Our motto is: From rods of glass, piles of crystal, hanks of seed beads, and coils of wire & thread come elegant handcrafted jewels for a lifetime of beauty. We specialize in handmade piece including links and earwires and fine attention to details. We now have a facebook page with updates and a huge photo gallery on picturetrail.com.
Morganna Elasky
I started beading sometime in 2003 almost by accident. My husband bought some beads for a project and around the same time one of my friends gave me some of her old craft magazines she was getting rid of including several issues of Bead & Button. I played around with the beads my husband bought far more than my husband did and I was quickly hooked. I subscribed to Bead & Button, started collecting back issues and bought countless beads at Joanne’s & Michaels. I was soon so hooked, I started buying beads online at Fire Mountain Gems, Fusion and Art Beads.
Since then, I have delved into seed beading, wire work and my latest hobby, lampwork glass. I love to create beads in a flame from rods of glass and then use them as center pieces for my work. I have been making glass beads for more then 2 year and I take classes with my mentor, Faith Ferris-Davis who is a wonderful artist and teacher. Most of my work is simple elegant crystal and gemstone pieces, illusion pieces, seed bead sewn pieces, wire pieces and one of a kind jewelry made with my lampwork beads. I have an extensive bead collection to draw in seeds, crystal and my own work. I am beginning to showcase some of my lampwork beads, individually and in sets, for others to design with and enjoy. I’m also working on seed bead patterns for display and jewelry.
My favorite part of beading is designing a piece with someone in mind. I enjoy wearing my own pieces but my passion is creating for others. I created wedding jewelry for my sister and for one of my friends. I’ve designed specific pieces for family and friends and that is what continually brings me back to my beading nook. I have a hallway end with a window for my table, bookshelf and tubs of beads. It is cozy to curl up in, morning or evening to design my creations.
If you have a special piece of jewelry in mind or see something on my site that is almost what you want, please email me regarding commissioning a special piece designed just for you.
